July Highlights: Happy GameDay Events
Celebrating a Month of Joy and Community Collaboration
July was a truly amazing month, marked by a series of Happy GameDay events that brought smiles, laughter, and unforgettable memories to children and families in the community.
Key Partnerships and Collaborations
Throughout the month, Happy GameDay partnered with Georgia Kids Belong and Murphy Harpst Children’s Home, leading to the successful organization of 11 diverse events. These collaborations helped expand the reach and impact of Happy GameDay, ensuring that more children experienced moments of joy and connection.
Cheer Camp!
A highlight of July was the special collaboration with Hillgrove High School, which opened doors for 8 enthusiastic young ladies to participate in Cheer Camp. This opportunity not only fostered new skills and friendships but also empowered these participants to shine and be confident!
Puppetry for the Arts!
Two families were treated to an enchanting day at the Atlanta Center for Puppetry Arts, where they delighted in the magical performance of Harold and the Purple Crayon. This experience offered a creative and cultural escape, creating cherished memories for all involved.
Thrills at Six Flags!
Nineteen children and staff were sent for a day of excitement at Six Flags over Georgia. They took on every ride, indulged in classic amusement park treats, and forged bonds through shared adventure and fun.
Major League Fun!
Thanks to the generosity of supporters, Happy GameDay hosted activities at 7 different events at Truist Park. Highlights included special access to a game in the exclusive Delta 360 Club and coveted Allstar Village passes, offering unforgettable experiences for the kids.
None of this would have been possible without the steadfast support and donations from the community. Happy GameDay expresses heartfelt gratitude to every partner, donor, and supporter who helped make July a month to remember for so many children and families.
Together, we continue to build brighter, happier days—one event, one child, and one memory at a time.
