August 2025
A Month of Happy GameDay Events!
What a fun-filled August we have had! The air was thick with excitement and anticipation as children and families came together in celebration of sport, unity, and the simple pleasures of shared experiences. Our organization, propelled by the generosity of community supporters and the power of partnership, delivered six unique Happy GameDay events throughout the month, creating moments of joy that will linger in the hearts of all involved for years to come.
Through our collaborative efforts with Georgia Kids Belong and Murphy Harpst Children’s Center, we were able to open doors for those whose stories deserve to be filled with laughter, excitement, and belonging.
Bringing Families to the Ballpark!
Our journey began with a series of five Atlanta Braves games, where the roar of the crowd and the crack of the bat became the soundtrack for unforgettable evenings. The Atlanta Braves, with their storied legacy, offered a stage upon which dreams could be imagined and memories forged.
Notably, three of these Braves outings were made possible entirely by the kind-heartedness of supporters who donated their unused tickets. Their selflessness turned ordinary seats into extraordinary experiences, allowing us to invite children and families who might not otherwise have had the opportunity to witness a live game. The donations epitomize the spirit of community—how a single gesture can ripple outward and create memories!
Soccer at Mercedes Benz
August also saw a group of awesome kids cheering at an Atlanta United Soccer match, where the energy in the stadium was palpable. Soccer, a game that transcends language and background, fostered a sense of unity among the attendees and all who attended had a great time being a part of the excitement that filled the stadium!
The Power of Partnerships
None of these events would have been possible without our invaluable partners. Georgia Kids Belong and Murphy Harpst Children’s Center share our commitment to ensuring that every child feels valued and included. These organizations work tirelessly to support kids facing difficult circumstances, and together, we aim to nurture hope and belonging wherever possible.
Through teamwork and shared vision, we’re able to identify families who would benefit most from opportunities Happy GameDay is able to provide. The joy expressed by the children and their parents and caregivers is a testament to the impact we can have when we join forces in service of others.
Ticket Donations: Simple Gifts, Lasting Impact
Time and again, we are reminded that small acts of kindness can have outsized effects. When supporters donate tickets they can’t use, they aren’t just giving away seats—they’re gifting experiences, possibilities, and memories. In August alone, ticket donations turned ordinary evenings into milestones for families and children.
We encourage everyone to think of us when you find yourself with tickets to events you can’t attend. Whether it’s a concert, a sporting event, or a theatrical performance, your donation can open a new chapter in someone’s life. We are committed to honoring your generosity by placing tickets in the hands of those who will cherish—and remember—the experience forever.
How the Process Works
Donating tickets is simple. Reach out to our organization, and we’ll help match your tickets with a family or group of children who are eager for the chance. We handle all logistics, ensuring a seamless experience for both the donor and the recipient. Our goal is to maximize the joy your donation can bring, creating ripple effects throughout our community.
