January 2026
Another Happy GameDay month has wrapped up, bringing with it a whirlwind of excitement, community partnerships, and cherished memories for families. This month, our focus was on basketball games and the thrilling spectacle of Hot Wheels Monster Trucks, all made possible by the generous support of our partners and donors.
To kick off the month, we teamed up with the Kentucky United Methodist Children’s Home for an unforgettable outing at a University of Kentucky basketball game. The kids were ecstatic to cheer on the CATS, and the excitement lasted well beyond the final buzzer. One of the caregivers shared a heartwarming moment: the morning after the game, children eagerly lined up at her door, bursting to recount the fun and excitement they experienced. It was a clear testament to the lasting impact these events have on young lives.
Our next adventure took place in Athens, Georgia, where we partnered with Chosen for Life Ministries to send a family to a University of Georgia basketball game. The atmosphere was electric, and the children’s favorite part? The delicious snacks! Sometimes, it’s the simple pleasures that make an experience truly memorable, and sharing treats while watching a thrilling game topped the list for these kids.
We wrapped up the month with a roaring good time by sending a family to the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks event, in partnership with Georgia Kids Belong. Hot Wheels holds a special place in the hearts of many children, and this event was the perfect opportunity for them to see their favorite vehicles in action. The excitement in the air was palpable, and it was clear that these moments would be treasured for years to come.
None of these memorable experiences would be possible without the incredible support of our donors, partners, and volunteers. Your generosity fuels our mission to create joyful, lasting memories for families in our community. Thank you for partnering with us and making each GameDay month a time to celebrate, connect, and uplift.
Together, we are building brighter futures—one GameDay at a time.
LIFETIME MEMORIES WERE MADE!
The Power of Partnership
None of these events would have been possible without our invaluable supporters and partners. . All of our partners share our commitment to ensuring that every child feels valued and included. These organizations work tirelessly to support kids facing difficult circumstances, and together, we aim to nurture hope and belonging wherever possible.
Through teamwork and shared vision, we’re able to identify kids and families who would benefit most from opportunities Happy GameDay is able to provide. The joy expressed by the children and their parents and caregivers is a testament to the impact we can have when we join forces in service of others.
Ticket Donations: Simple Gifts, Lasting Impact
Time and again, we are reminded that small acts of kindness can have outsized effects. When supporters donate tickets they can’t use, they aren’t just giving away seats—they’re gifting experiences, possibilities, and memories.
We encourage everyone to think of us when you find yourself with tickets to events you can’t attend. Whether it’s a concert, a sporting event, or a theatrical performance, your donation can open a new chapter in someone’s life. We are committed to honoring your generosity by placing tickets in the hands of those who will cherish—and remember—the experience forever.
How the Process Works
Donating tickets is simple. Reach out to us, and we’ll help match your tickets with a family or group of children who are eager for the chance. We handle all logistics, ensuring a seamless experience for both the donor and the recipient.
