August was a home run for Happy GameDay! We packed the month with four unforgettable adventures, plenty of smiles, and countless moments our kids will treasure for years to come.
Baseball took center stage at three of our events. Two groups headed to cheer on the Braves, soaking up the sights, sounds, snacks, and excitement of a day at the ballpark. Another group brought their biggest cheers—and best dance moves—to a Rome Emperors game, enjoying the action from some of the best seats in the house!
Then it was time for a little Broadway magic! A wonderful group of girls experienced the singing, laughter, and feel-good fun of Annie at the theatre—and the sun definitely came out for this special outing!
From big hits and happy dances to show-stopping songs, August was filled with joy—and you helped make every moment possible! Thank you for cheering on our mission to break down barriers and create Happy GameDay memories for the kids who need them most. We can’t wait to see what fun comes next!

Georgia Kids Belong started in 2020 and is a pilot of America’s Kids Belong. Their mission is to improve the experiences and outcomes for Georgia kids in the foster care system. They have great programs to include the I Belong Project, Foster Friendly Businesses and Foster Friendly Faith Communities. Murphy Harpst Children’s Home
Murphy-Harpst is an independent not-for-profit organization committed to meeting the needs of abused and neglected young people through residential treatment, placements in specialized foster care, and community programs that serve at-risk youth and their families. In partnership with the United Methodist Women national office, their services are available to all children regardless of sex, race, color, or creed, and whose needs can be addressed and treated within the scope of program services. Calvary Children’s Home
Founded in 1966, Calvary Children’s Home is a home for children in the Metro Atlanta area that need to live apart from their families. They provide a safe, loving, Christian home for these children while providing them with a stable home life.
