October Happy GameDay Memories

Celebrating Football, Friendship, and Fall Fun

Another month of Happy GameDay memories has come and gone, leaving us with hearts full of joy and excitement! As the crisp fall weather swept in, October proved to be an incredible time for football and fun!

Georgia Tech Excitement with Calvary Children’s Home

To kick off our series of football adventures, we were thrilled to send a group from Calvary Children’s Home to a Georgia Tech game. The kids experienced the energy of the stadium, cheered on the Yellow Jackets, and created unforgettable moments with friends and mentors.

Falcon’s Football Fun

The excitement continued as group from Bald Ridge Lodge got the opportunity to attend a Falcon’s football game. Surrounded by passionate fans and the thrill of professional football, everyone had a blast watching the game and celebrating each touchdown together.

Wildcat Memories in Lexington

Our final football event of the month took us to Lexington in the Commonwealth, where a group of kids from Kentucky UMC Children’s Home cheered on their beloved UK Wildcats. The stadium buzzed with excitement as the Wildcats played, and the kids made lasting memories, sharing laughter and joy throughout the day.

A Happy Birthday at Six Flags

For our final event this month, Happy GameDay was thrilled to celebrate a special young man's birthday in October by arranging a memorable trip to Six Flags for him and his family. The occasion was filled with excitement, joy, and unforgettable moments as everyone enjoyed the thrilling rides, delicious treats, and the festive atmosphere of the park.

We are delighted to have been a part of this joyful celebration, bringing smiles and happiness to a wonderful family.

Looking Ahead

October’s events have shown us, once again, how sports and fun events can bring people together and create moments that last a lifetime. We’re grateful to everyone who helped make these GameDay experiences possible and look forward to many more in the months to come!

LIFETIME MEMORIES WERE MADE!

The Power of Partnerships

None of these events would have been possible without our invaluable partners. All of our partners share our commitment to ensuring that every child feels valued and included. These organizations work tirelessly to support kids facing difficult circumstances, and together, we aim to nurture hope and belonging wherever possible.

Through teamwork and shared vision, we’re able to identify kids and families who would benefit most from opportunities Happy GameDay is able to provide. The joy expressed by the children and their parents and caregivers is a testament to the impact we can have when we join forces in service of others.

Ticket Donations: Simple Gifts, Lasting Impact

Time and again, we are reminded that small acts of kindness can have outsized effects. When supporters donate tickets they can’t use, they aren’t just giving away seats—they’re gifting experiences, possibilities, and memories. In August alone, ticket donations turned ordinary evenings into milestones for families and children.

We encourage everyone to think of us when you find yourself with tickets to events you can’t attend. Whether it’s a concert, a sporting event, or a theatrical performance, your donation can open a new chapter in someone’s life. We are committed to honoring your generosity by placing tickets in the hands of those who will cherish—and remember—the experience forever.

How the Process Works

Donating tickets is simple. Reach out to our organization, and we’ll help match your tickets with a family or group of children who are eager for the chance. We handle all logistics, ensuring a seamless experience for both the donor and the recipient. Our goal is to maximize the joy your donation can bring, creating ripple effects throughout our community.
